For over 30 years, the American Task Force on Lebanon has been working to sustain US support for a unified and sovereign Lebanon. The ATFL is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization comprised of prominent Americans of Lebanese heritage. ATFL is inclusive, nonpartisan, and nonsectarian. Our mission is to encourage a strong US-Lebanon relationship and advocate programs and diplomatic actions that will respond to the needs of the Lebanese people, especially the most vulnerable.
The ATFL annual gala is a key venue in drawing the attention of the Washington policy community to issues impacting the Lebanese people. It is one of the largest annual events for the Lebanese American community, typically gathering around 500 attendees, with participants from the policy community, the US Administration and Congress, as well as business leaders, philanthropists, members of the diplomatic community, and prominent Lebanese Americans from across the United States.
