Simon Mourani is a first-generation Lebanese American community leader dedicated to advancing civic engagement, strengthening institutions, and supporting meaningful US–Lebanon relations. He is Program Manager in Community Engagement at DTE Energy, leading strategic outreach to enhance transparency, build stakeholder trust, and ensure community voices inform organizational decisions. His work involves close collaboration with nonprofit leaders, municipal partners, and advocacy organizations to translate community priorities into actionable strategy, strengthening long-term partnerships across Michigan.

Simon has also provided significant leadership to the Lebanese diaspora, serving as Executive Board President of the Lebanese Collegiate Network, connecting over 30 university Lebanese clubs nationwide, leading conventions, and developing professional workshops to cultivate the next generation of Lebanese American leaders. He holds an MBA and B.S. from Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business and remains committed to principled leadership and sustained diaspora engagement in civic and institutional life.
